Google My Business adds “Request a Quote” button

How can people get price quotes for my Google my business listing?

Google My Business (GMB) is automatically adding a "Request a Quote" button for local business with a GMB listing to further incentivize customers to click and engage with local businesses. This feature is a highly useful tool for generating leads from Google search results. The button makes it easier for customers visiting your listing to begin engaging with you.

Most service based businesses should start to see this feature and can add a Request A Quote button to their business listings as of now. This feature offers huge upside potential as it offers visitors another reason to engage with businesses without ever visiting a brands website, or going thru a website landing page.

To enable this new feature button you'll need to enable the messaging function in your Google My Business listing. You can find it under the left hand side in your dashboard under messaging.

Check out my short video below and I'll guide you step-by-step and show you where you can find this new feature and how it will make your business listing look to customers.

Follow these four steps to get messaging setup for your new get a quote button from Google my business:

  1. Open the Google My Business app.
  2. Open the location you’d like to manage.
  3. Tap Customers.
  4. Tap Messages.
  5. Tap Turn on.

That's it. Let me know if you have any questions.

Be Awesome.
