# Meta Advantage+ Creative Audit & Lockdown Procedure

**Objective:** Systematically review all active ad sets in a Meta Ads account and disable all automatic AI-powered creative modifications. This ensures full creative control and prevents off-brand or non-compliant ad variations from running.

**Use Case:** This procedure is critical for agencies managing brand-sensitive clients, especially in regulated industries like finance, legal, and healthcare.

## The Audit Checklist

### Phase 1: Preparation

1.  **Access:** Ensure you have Editor or Admin access to the Meta Ads Manager account.
2.  **List Campaigns:** Open a spreadsheet and list all currently active Campaigns in the account.

### Phase 2: Execution (Repeat for Each Campaign)

For each campaign on your list, perform the following steps for **every Ad Set** within it:

1.  **Navigate to Ad Set:**
    *   In Ads Manager, click on the Campaign name.
    *   Select the first Ad Set and click the "Edit" button.

2.  **Locate Advantage+ Creative Section:**
    *   In the Ad Set editing panel, scroll down past "Dynamic Creative" and "Budget & Schedule".
    *   Find the box labeled **"Advantage+ creative"**. It may be expanded or collapsed.

3.  **Disable All Optimizations:**
    *   **Primary Action:** Uncheck the master checkbox at the top of the "Advantage+ creative" section. This should disable all sub-options.
    *   **Secondary Action (If master checkbox is absent):** Manually review and turn **OFF** every single toggle switch within this section. Pay close attention to:
        *   `Music`: Prevents Meta from adding stock music to your video ads.
        *   `Visual Touch-Ups`: Disables automatic enhancements like image filters, aspect ratio adjustments, and template applications.
        *   `Text Improvements`: Stops Meta from generating or showing different combinations of your primary text, headline, and description.

4.  **Document Findings:**
    *   In your spreadsheet, mark the Ad Set as "Audited & Secured".
    *   Take a screenshot of the disabled settings for your records and for client reporting.

5.  **Publish Changes:**
    *   Click the green **"Publish"** button in the bottom right corner.

### Phase 3: Standardization

1.  **Update Agency SOPs:** Add a mandatory step to your internal campaign launch checklist: "Confirm all Advantage+ creative toggles are set to OFF before launch."
2.  **Client Communication:** Use the screenshots to create a simple one-page report for the client, confirming the audit is complete and their creative is locked down.
